Underground Economy

The Underground Economy is a system of people that cant get a full-time and a regular job.  They turn to a lot of under the table work so they dont have to pay for that money they worked from.  This underground economy is beneficial because this helps people with limited to money or work to stay under the radar and done have to pay taxs and income tax.  It could be detrimental because the government was to find out that you dont pay taxes you can go to jail or have to pay the government what they lost.  For those who do pay taxes its unfair because they have to pay and lose money and the other people fly under the radar.

cell phone and the constitution

                 I think that it is a good idea that police are not able to search your cell phone without a warrant.   They don't have the right just to take you phone and go through everything you keep on your phone.  I think that if it is to save a life or to bring justice to criminals then in that case it's some what ok to have the police search through  your phone.  I agree with the Supreme Courts ruling on they should be able to check people's cells phones if they are involed in the case.  It says that "the court understands that digital information is different than paper and cabinets and lockboxes".  Also when I says that most teens or adults to 30 do most there work and informant on ther phones like like in these cases police would have to be able to go ok them. And lastly in one of the court cases that happened in the past a killer when free only Bc the police didn't get a warrant before going through the killers phone even though they knew what he did.  That's why I think in most cases police should be able to go through people's phones unless there is no need.

Baker vs. Coakley

           Today I got to vote for the governor race and I voted for Kevin Baker.  I voted for Baker because of many reasons but one of them was that Coakley was only look to help the little kids education and she wanted to raise the gas tax. Baker all around was a better governor in my eyes for many reasons.  One of those reasons are he wants to help kids and teen on secondary education and wants to make more schools charter school witch is school that anyone can go to like people from dighton can go to seekonk.  Next Baker wants to have a big online college educations and also make a 4 year Bachelors degree to a 3 year and to make a 5 year Bachelor and Master to a 4 year to short the year it shorts the year you have to pay to go to college.  He also want to make more sick time hours for people who work more then 40 hours a week.  Baker also want to make a big change with welfare reform by stricter welfare conditions and to raise the age of exemption form 60 to 66. Lastly I picked Baked Becaues he wants to help with the worlds climate change he know that the people are the ones destroying the climate so he want to help with how the world gets treated.  Those are the reasons why I picked Baker in the governor race and not Coakley

Lincoln movie

           In the movie Lincoln president Abraham Lincoln is faced with many challenges from a war to trying to pass the 13th Amendment.  In the movie it show when he is talking to his family and kids he say that passing the 13th will be the hardest thing today and it will be hard to get the votes on it.  One of the problems he had with the proposal of the Amendment was at this time it was a very racies time and people weren't going to like what he was trying to do.  The whites were worried about the 4 million African Americans that were in the country and could take the whites jobs if the 13th was past.  Lincoln would need a 2/3 vote for the Amendment to be ratified.  When the 13th first went to the house most everyone was against the Amendment.  One man stood up for Lincoln can got the people to think the other way that Lincoln could end the war and help this nation.  When Lincoln realized that he was not going to get the votes he need he went out and talked to the people he knew could change there view on the 13th.  One of the people Lincoln talked to was George helm Yeaman and in the movie when he was called on to vote he said yes it changed the whole thing and then the 13th Amendment was pass.  Abraham Lincoln used a lot of resources with his power as president to pull his way to get the 13th passed.  He some times lied why we was trying the pass the Amendment like how he lied about peace talks.  He also said that after this Amendment was pass there was going to be more jobs open like mayor or postmaster and more.  In the end Lincoln was corrupt president Because in the end he was just looking to get the African American votes for his up coming re election for his 3 term but then was killed before anything came of it 

articles of the confederation

   The Articles of confederation failed for many reasons and couldn't keep it going.  The executive branch of the government wasn't realy that strong and have no power to enforce the other beaches to decide what states have to much power.   The federal branch of government had no power at all to even collect taxes and regulate trade.  Tre central government at this time was ever weak and had no pull for anything.  The articles of the confederation failed because they really have now pull in any part of the government from the executive to the federal and the legislative branches.

          In the show family guy episode Petoria Peter makes his own country off his old country.  The government Peter makes is a dictatorship when he is the Peter of the whole country.  Petoria is a self govern state that Peter clams as he own state and country.  Peter enjoys his own country because he can make what ever rules he wants and declare war on other country's.   Also he doesn't have to pay for anything and can take over stuff like Joes pool.  Peter ended up suffering a lot of things not having a federal government.  Peter and his family got there power and water taken away from there country. Also Chris and Meg got kicked out of school and brought back in the the country by the military and lost his family in the end.

               If we in American did have a government then the world would be so different and everything would be crazy.   There would be no courts no cops firefighters there would be fighting and killing non stop because there's no one to stop them.  Even though stuff like that happens with a government already it would be a 100 times worst if there was no cops.  An if we were to have no firefighters house business and more would just burn to the ground.  It would kind be like how the movie Purge would be people would lock down there house get fire arms and weapons and there would be 1000 to millions of people dying all the time.
                There you be no high way department or services  to help with anything wrong.  If there was no highway department the roads and  highways would but nothing or even dirt and there would be no one to keep up with them.  If there was a crash or accident the there would be no one there to save you to get you to safety or to pull you out of the car.  During the winter there would be no plowing crews to keep the roads safe and clean.  There would be no banks to keep money and gold in a locked up place .  There would by no  car company's no  so it would by hard to get around.  There would be no jails so from rapers to murders would just be running the streets with nothing to get caught for.
                 I think that human made this organized government so that are country of the United States   because they didn't want to see fires just go crazy and people to just kill and get away with it.  The made it so we had a president so we had a leader and someone to follow to keep are country going.  They made the different branches of the government so just one part didn't get the blunt of everything and everything split up
